Susan Nezamian Marries Ronald Cass

Susan Mariam Nezamian and Ronald Andrew Cass, lawyers in practice together in Great Falls, Va., are to be married there today. Rabbi Bruce M. Lustig is to officiate at the St. Regis Hotel.

The bridegroom, 55, was the dean of the Boston University School of Law from 1990 until July. He met the bride, 37, at a Republican fund-raiser. She later attended B.U.'s law school, from which she graduated in 2003.

The bride graduated from Brown. She is a daughter of Helen K. Nezamian and Jack A. Nezamian of Pawtucket, R.I. Her father retired as a toolmaker for Cumberland Engineering, a maker of machinery for the plastics industry in Cumberland, R.I. Her mother is a sales executive in Warwick, R.I., for Mary Kay Cosmetics.

From 1988 to 1990 the bridegroom was a member and then the vice chairman of the International Trade Commission. He graduated from the University of Virginia and received his law degree from the University of Chicago.

He is the son of Ruth M. Cass and Millard Cass of Bethesda, Md. His father, who is retired, was the United States deputy undersecretary of labor, from 1955 to 1970, and was then a labor arbitrator in Washington and Bethesda.

The bride's previous marriage ended in divorce, as did the bridegroom's.
